It’s anxiety not crazy

Are you tired of feeling like you’re constantly on edge, worried about everything, and unsure of how to calm your mind? Yeah, I get it. Anxiety can be a real pain.

First, let’s normalize this: anxiety is common, and it doesn’t mean you’re weak or “going crazy.” It just means you’re human.

Here are three tips to help you cope:

  1. Breathe, baby, breathe: When we’re anxious, our breathing gets shallow. Consciously take slow, deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
  2. Get moving: Exercise can help calm your mind and release endorphins (aka happy hormones). Find an activity that works for you, even if it’s just a short walk.
  3. Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself, just as you would to a friend. Remind yourself that it’s okay to feel anxious and that you’re doing the best you can.

Anxiety doesn’t define you.

It might be a part of your life, but it’s a symptom. Let’s find out why.
