About

It’s me, your counsellor Lisa

I’m pretty set on living a happy and content life. I’m a busy professional, wife, and mum of three in a beautiful, blended family, I get it – life can be crazy complicated!

But here’s the thing: I believe we all deserve to thrive, not just survive. That’s why I’m here to offer a listening ear, a non-judgemental space, and a healthy dose of cheerleading to help you find your best self.

My goal?

To provide the most compassionate, informed, and empowering support possible – and to keep learning and growing alongside the incredible women that I help.

My professional stuff

When I’m not working with amazing people like you, you can find me giving back to my community and spreading the love.

As a dedicated and passionate counsellor, I’m always on the lookout for ways to enhance my skills and stay ahead of the curve!

You’ll often find me at professional development courses, interstate conferences, and soaking up the latest research to ensure my approach is fresh, effective, and tailored to the unique needs of women and families.

To provide the most compassionate, informed, and empowering support possible – and to keep learning and growing alongside the incredible women that I help.

Out of office

I love, love travelling

I travel because it teaches me as much about the world as it does about myself.

Often it gets me comfortable with being uncomfortable – no same pillow, same seat at the dinner table.

Travelling gives me a rest and refreshes my soul, but it fills my bucket of compassion, patience, appreciation of people.

All good stuff for counselling well.

Be outside

I really enjoy being outside – in fact I do walk and talk counselling. Walking simplifies time – one foot in front of the other and breathing.

After a few months of training to be hiking fit, I recently gave Mt Fuji Japan a crack. It was hard and uncomfortable, but it was always my intention to try.

The journey (training) was the biggest part, not the end (goal). I take the same approach with my client’s changes – make an intention first.
